Hello, I'm Manuel Palachuk

I believe that small business is the backbone of the world and the service industry in particular is the heart!

I’ve worked for some very large companies and even the federal government on contract over the years. I’ve also worked in and run many more small businesses.

While there is a need for large organizations, it’s actually the small businesses around the world that make up the spine – they are the backbone.

And the service delivery function is at the heart of every one of those small businesses.

That’s why I always say: I want to see to it that the world has a strong back and a good heart.

My Story

I have over 30 years of business, management, and training experience in the computer and electronics industries. I have owned several successful businesses, managed several successful IT and MSP service companies, and coached, mentored, or trained many more businesses all over the world. I am an expert of process, systems, and their efficiency who is driven toward continuous improvement in all aspects of business. I’m a well-known author in the IT consulting community for Small and Medium-sized Businesses, and an experienced speaker and trainer at industry conferences.

CULTURE AND COMPASS

What Truly Matters To Me

Passion

I believe that small business is the backbone of the world and the service industry in particular is the heart! I want to see to it that the world has a strong back and a good heart.

Vision

A solid fabric of small businesses around the world, woven of strong culture and compass with a dedication to quality products and services.

Mission

To take you and your business to the next level. And I have the blueprint to do it!

Values

Integrity, Passion, Knowledge (study), Experience (practice), Collaboration, Stewardship, and Transformation (getting to the next level).

Motto

I want to help the world turn in the right direction on balance.

I am the author of the book Getting To The Next Level: A Blueprint for Taking You and Your Business to the Top. I’m also the co-author of The Network Migration Workbook, an expansive 600-page document covering the complete processes and checklists required to migrate your network with zero downtime.

I hold degrees in Electrical Engineering and Automated Manufacturing. I completed my first Microsoft Windows Certified Training in 1993 (Microsoft Windows NT Advanced Server), and I held a variety of Microsoft certifications for more than 20 years, including Small Business Specialist.

I started my first computer and network service business in 1992, several years before the Internet became completely open to the public. Later, I had a six-year stint as President of KPEnterprises Business Consulting in Sacramento, CA. I then began a one-year contract as the outsourced COO for Network Technology Solutions (NTS) in Pompano Beach, FL. In that time, I turned the company around from an unprofitable position to one with four consecutive quarters in the black.

In 2012, I struck out on my own again. The primary focus of my latest endeavor is to help Service Providers take their business to the next level. Recently, I devised what I believe to be the most innovative system to date – Business Agile Strategy Execution (BASE) – and I have built an array of coaching programs and tools around it.

As a result of my education and wide range of work experience, I’m an expert in projects and process control. I have worked and managed in industries ranging from food service to construction to boat building, and of course technology. I’ve worked on precision systems inside some of the largest companies and manufacturing plants in the U.S. and Canada. Significant projects included bringing an entire manufacturing plant online with Boeing’s Paperless Airplane project, and the upgrade of the Department of Energy network at Bonneville Power Administration from Unix to Windows.

I draw from many years of training, instructing, and coaching experience beyond just my business experience.

I have more than twenty years working with youth and adults in volunteer programs and I’ve served as a trained COPE instructor. Additionally, I have taught Sailing, Rock Climbing, and am a Martial Arts student and instructor.

I am based in Clearwater, FL, but I’m not constrained by my physical location in any way. By virtue of the internet and the dynamic physical resources around the world, I consider myself to be a global entity. I will work with anyone anywhere, and with virtual offices in every major city on every continent, I can have an in-person meeting or make a presentation anywhere. I leverage on-demand resources for everything I do, from graphics design to infrastructure management.

When I take on a project or when I’m asked for referrals by my clients, my preference is always to utilize and refer local resources such as those found in the Small and Medium-sized Business (SMB) community and those who support it. I try to maintain a contact list and relationship with resources such as legal services, accounting and/or payroll, and technical labor in many locations. When that is simply not possible, I will reach out to the massive SMB community around the world. There are excellent resources everywhere for this industry, and not knowing how to tap into them could be devastating to your company when you need them the most.

When not working, I enjoy many hobbies including Sailing, Photography, SCUBA diving, and Taekwondo.

I am actively involved in several community efforts, and I strive to maintain my Emergency Preparedness and First Aid training with the Red Cross. I like to travel and I have visited more than 30 countries on four continents. My travels have helped me to relate across cultures and see things from many different perspectives.
